Procurement Summary

The Government's minimum requirements for one (1) One (1) µPULSE Tangential Flow Filtration system are not produced or manufactured in the United States in sufficient and reasonably available commercial quantities and of a satisfactory quality to meet mission requirements. Domestic offers were insufficient to meet the requirement and award will be made on other than a qualifying country or eligible end product as defined in FAR 25.001. The (articles, materials, or supplies) are not contained in the list of end products or components listed in FAR 25.104(a), and do not meet the requirements DFARS 225.103(b) (iii). The Army Research Laboratory (ARL) requires the procurement of one (1) ) µPULSE Tangential Flow Filtration system (PN 559001C). This sample concentration diafiltration system is unique based on two (2) criteria, its approach with tangential flow filtration of maximum 100mL volume down to 1mL, as well as its wide use in other ARL laboratories, allowing for confluent, compatitble software and interchanging of parts. Both of which will allow the Government to save time and maximize effeciencies with 4x the speed of manual filtration, and thereby work towards successfully meeting the deliverables outlined by the Secretary of Defense program titled Triservice Biotechnolody for Resilient Supply Chain (TBRSC).
