Procurement Summary

This is an acquisition of a MA900 Cell sorter. This cell sorter is needed to analyze and complete single-cell sorting of antigen-specific B cells needed to study the BCR repertoire in response to influenza vaccination/infection. This cell sorter will also serve a vital role in meeting the objectives of the influenza pandemic preparedness pipeline to produce monoclonal antibody therapeutics. The Sony MA900 has the modern technologies built into the system to include a patented microfluidic chip-based design, comprehensive fluidic controls, and advanced automation that dramatically simplifies operation to make sorting less subjective and improve reliability of results.
