D: Manufacture date: Container Year built date on CSC Safety Approval data plate shall not exceed 12 monthsfrom the date of awarded contract. E: Year built. Manufacture date shall not exceed a year (12 months) from the awarded contractdate. F: Customs catch. A plate shall be permanently affixed near the center edge of the outer door to preclude inner door openingwithout opening the outer door. G: Door locking handle retainers shall be installed. Door locking handle retainers may be eitherfixed or pivoting hardware to hold the locking handle in the closed position and provide a means to place a lock and/or securityseal on both doors. H: An elongated door handle hub (sometimes referred to as a “security hub”) shall extend a minimum of 25mm below the rivet hole or pivot point and shall be installed on the righthand door to prevent the handle from being removed even if therivet is removed. I: The door hinges shall either be welded to the door panel or, if affixed with fasteners, affixed with TIRapproved fasteners that are further protected from removal by a suitable shield or equivalent design feature. Hinge pin shall bewelded in place or otherwise protected to preclude removal. J: A securing plate (also known as “custom plate”) shall be installed on the inside, above the mid-point, of the left door. This plate shall be painted in a contrasting color, so it is readily visiblewhen the righthand door is opened. Other design features that form an “interlock” between the two doors or otherwise precludemanipulation and opening of the unsealed door without breaking the seal are equally acceptable.
