The Malaria Immunology Section (MIS) at Laboratory of Malaria and Vector Research (LMVR) was awarded funding in the form of a grant from United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to perform several lab activities. The lab needs to acquire a reagent dispenser to do highly standardized ELISA and Growth Inhibition Assays (GIA) reading 96 well plates. These results are reported to international funding agencies and are used to make decisions on which candidates to pursue for supporting malaria blood-stage vaccine development.
