The Special Projects Branch (SPB) of the Biological & Biotechnology Sciences (BBS) Division at the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) requires a QuantStudio 6 Pro Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) system (A43166) along with the 384-well expansion block (A45954) for work on a high priority project that has the attention of senior leaders throughout the Army and Office of the Secretary of Defense. This project involves the study of novel radio frequency (RF) waveforms interacting with objects of interest to the U.S. Army. The wide variety of RF waveforms under study, requires the utmost quality and breadth of downstream measurement techniques so accurate quantifiable data can be trusted to inform future direction and senior leaders. As such, this PCR instrumentation is required to expand capabilities and produce data to inform decisions in this research area.
