The NAICS code is 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. There are no other comparable products on the market. Despite conducting Internet and catalog searches, as well as in the scientific research community, for a particle classifier capable of classifying particles in the nanometer range with at least 80% transport efficiency to enable sufficient particle concentrations throughout the experimental setup of this study, the project officer was unable to locate similar or comparable products in the market. The AAC is the exclusive product identified to meet all the requirements of this project and can be purchased only from Cambustion, Ltd. Cambustion provided a sole source letter on 4/30/2024 supporting that the AAC product is manufactured and sold by only Cambustion and there are no authorized resellers. An oral request for quote will be issued. Considering circumstances and gathered information on hand, it is hereby determined by the Contracting Officer, consistent with FAR 25.103(b), that these items from Cambustion Ltd are non-available.
