The RTB/RML requires a replacement Quorum cryostage power supply and installation to replace a nonfunctioning Quorum cryostage power supply. RML’s Electron Microscopy Unit’s Quorum cryostage power supply is currently broken and needs to be replaced. The cryostage allows for preparation of cryo lamella, visualization of cryo samples by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and volume Focused Ion Beam Scanning/Electron Microscopy (FIB/SEM) analysis of frozen samples. In the quorum’s current down-state the lab is unable to work with samples that require these important techniques. RTB/RML requires the same cryostage power supply to replace the broken unit power unit for their Quorum cryostage, which is a PP3010 cryo sem preparation system. This system is the latest in cryo-SEM technology and combines the highest quality results with unparalleled ease of use. The PP3010 is a highly automated, column-mounted, gas-cooled cryo sem preparation and cryo transfer system suitable for most makes and models of W-SEM, FE-SEM and FIB/SEM.
