The image scanner provides analysis of: root morphology, quantification of leaf disease and insect damage, measures root in front of different backgrounds, root diameter, length, area, volume, color, displays analysis over the image, root positioning system(trays), special lighting to avoid shadows, permanent calibration to increase the measurement position, scanner should be TWAIN compatible Scanner has special light for root, seed, and needle scanning. Comes with permanent calibration to increase the measurement position. No other scanners on the market offer scanner trays to help with quickness of measuring thousands of root material.
