Procurement Summary

The USGS California Water Science Center (CAWSC) will use the nitrogen generator to provide nitrogen to the on-site source and collision cell of a liquid chromatograph tandem mass spectrometer (LC-MS/MS) instrument. Nitrogen is necessary for the operation of the LCMS/MS which is used to analyze organic molecules in environmental matrices.

If we are unable to acquire this instrument, this will delay sample analyses as these gases will not be produced onsite and will require delivery.
